The Akwiaworo Primary School is located in the Kole District and in Adekokwok Sub-County of northern Uganda.
The “Wake up and Dream” Organization in Washington DC held their first “Rock the Boat DC” fundraiser iin 2011 which helped to give this school in Lira their first supply of clean, safe water. The event was a party on a boat on the Potomac in DC and raised enough money to pay for two wells in Uganda. The well at the Akwiaworo school was one of the two they funded.
