The drillers arrived in Atiira Secondary School on the 03rd May, 2014 and started drilling on the 04th May, 2014. We struck the first water at 15-16m and installed the permanent casing down to 20m, at this point the rock became too hard but unfortunately the new hammer had not yet arrived. On the 07th to 08/ May, 2014 the drillers got the new harmer, and drilled from 20 m-46 m and the yield was enough to sustain the well and the drillers estimate is 3 cubic.
Well development in Atiira Secondary School was done on 9th May, 2014 and also pump testing of the well done on the same day. The static was 13.51m, they pump tested at 9 seconds per 10 liters and the pump was at 44m, the draw down went up to 17.05 m and the output was 4 cubic per hour. The drillers did the Installation at 30 m that is 10 riser pipes. And did the casting on the 09th May, 2014.
