Kapir Community Well

Kapir community well is located in Kapir village which is in the Kapir Sub County of the Ngora district in the Teso sub-Region of Uganda.

The community of Kapir village used to have to walk 5 kilometers to get to water from the nearest swamp. The process was laborious and time consuming. After Drop in the bucket provided the borehole, the distance to the water point and the time spent in collecting water has greatly reduced. This being a business oriented community, the time saved in collecting water is now used in selling food items and other merchandize leading to increased incomes and improved livelihoods.
