St Lenda Early Childhood Development Center

St Lenda Early Childhood Development Center is a Nursery School in Uganda. The School is a Private Sponsored School found in Apac District and in Alito Sub-County. When the parents at St Lenda School first approached us, the school had only 283 pupils. However it was in a very remote area where a lot of children were living but unable to attend school. This often happens in areas without a nearby source of water because the children have to spend the day fetching water for their families. Putting wells at schools alleviates this problem. Just a few months after the well was installed at St. Lenda’s the attendance almost doubled!
