Groundwater is used as drinking water in Lusaka’s peri-urban areas including schools. Unfortunately, this groundwater is heavily contaminated with nitrate and pathogens thereby exposing thousands of pupils to water-borne diseases, blue baby syndrome, thyroid dysfunction and increase the risk of cancer. my organisation (ENVAROS) has designed a low-cost nitrate remover which has been installed at one of the schools. Your donation will be used to make and install more treatment units at affected other schools. I truly appreciate any support you can provide.
