The Birijaku Primary School is located in Koboko, Uganda in an area called West Nile. The school has more than 1,580 students. This community is made up of locals and refugees from South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Before the well was drilled, the only water source was rainwater, but there was not enough rain to get the school through the dry season.
