Lutyek is a small village in Pader Uganda. The village falls within the town municipality, but the 86 households in Lutyek were never given the option of piped water. The town water pipes never managed to reach this community, so their only water source was a stream. The water is this stream was very polluted and not safe to drink, but it was their only option.

Drop in the Bucket’s drilling rig had to drill 60 meters before we hit a sufficient amount of aquifer water to keep Lutyek village in clean, safe drinking water all-year round.
