Meredith‘s Story

Welcome to the Meredith & Don 2018 Celebration of Love fundraising page!

Thank you all for coming to our wedding fundraiser page. Don and I thought about what we needed or wanted and decided we really didn’t need anything for ourselves. So we decided to ask everyone to donate to one of our favorite charities.

Drop in the Bucket drills wells at schools in sub-Saharan Africa, making it possible for children, particularly girls to go to school. The organization was started by John and Stacey Travis, two dear friends of mine. They own their own drilling rigs and employ local staff in the countries where they work and operate with a very low overhead to make sure that every dollar donated goes to where it is most needed.
