In Nov 2008, Drop in the Bucket drilled a water well at the Alebere Primary School in the Barr Sub-County of the Lira District in Uganda. On the day these photos were taken, our drillers had already hit water and were setting on the cement apron.
The school has 745 pupils; 355 boys and 390 girls. The well is also used by the neighboring villages providing clean water to well over 1000 people.
