Alipi Primary School is in the Abachi Village in the Koboko district of Uganda, which is in an area called West Nile, near the border of Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The school is very large with 1015 pupils, including 7 with special needs. There are 9 male teachers and two female teachers currently working at the school. Before the well was drilled the school’s only water source was a contaminated natural spring. Even this water source was 1km from the school, so the new well that Drop in the Bucket recently drilled is making a huge difference for the school and surrounding communities.
