The Alito Leper Primary School is located in the Apac District and in Alito Sub-County of northern Uganda. The school was originally located near a center the treated people with leprosy, which is where the name is derived from. In October 2008, Drop in the Bucket installed a well for the school’s 1059 pupils. The school is in a very remote village, almost a three-hour drive from the city of Lira.
