Alokolum village in Pader, Uganda, and home to over 500 people, once faced the daily challenge of walking 2 kilometers to access clean water. That all changed when Drop in the Bucket drilled a 50-meter-deep well for the community. With a yield of 3.3 cubic meters per hour, the well now provides more than enough water to meet the village’s needs, transforming daily life for its residents.
