The well that Drop in the Bucket drilled at the Angola Primary School in Pader, Uganda was unusual for several reasons. The first one being that we drilled it while the whole country was under a lockdown order due to the Covid-19 pandemic. There were no vehicles on the road except law and order, military and emergency vehicles, but we were granted a special permit to be able to drive to drill new wells. At the time we drilled this well the school was closed to students and it did not reopen for another year. The students got to come back to a school with a major upgrade – clean water!
