The Awoo Primary School is located in Gulu District and in Lakwana Sub-County of northern Uganda. The school has 442 boys and 368 girls, a total of 810 pupils.
The school’s only source of water was a well at the nearby IDP camp. The school had 5 toilets for the boys and no toilets for the girls. Drop in the Bucket installed our complete water system at this school consisting of a well, a roundabout pump, a reservoir tank, flush toilets, a hand-washing station and our delayed septic system.
