Kakindu Primary School

The Kakindu Primary School is located in the Kiyuni sub-county of the Mubende district and has 315 pupils. In Lira, due in part to the war, people tend to live more densely. But here in other more rural areas of Uganda, people live in smaller communities so the school populations tend to be a bit smaller. The project was completed by a group of Ugandans that wanted to make a difference in their community. They were prepared to do all of the work and administration, but needed help funding some of their water projects. We were happy to collaborate with the Rural Healthcare Foundation in bringing water to schools and villages in Uganda.
