The situation at Ogom Telela school in Ogom Telela village, Pader District, Ogom Sub-County once posed a significant challenge regarding access to safe water. Initially, the school relied on fetching water from a well located at a health center approximately 2 kilometers away, disrupting daily routines and potentially affecting educational pursuits.
However, thanks to the collaborative efforts of Drop in the Bucket, a borehole well has since been drilled within the school premises. This initiative has provided a sustainable and reliable water source for the school community. With the borehole now operational, students and staff have access to clean water directly on-site, eliminating the need for lengthy journeys to external sources.
This development marks a significant improvement in the school’s infrastructure, ensuring better water quality and convenience for all. With clean water readily available, the school community can focus more effectively on their educational objectives, fostering a healthier and more productive learning environment.
