The Okunguro Primary School is located in the Adala village of the Asuret sub-county of Soroti Uganda. The school has a lot of students, there are 1535 total; 798 boys and 737 girls. The well will also be used by three neighboring villages. The school has 13 full-time teachers and has been around for just over 31 years. There are 24 orphans and 16 children with special needs.
The area surrounding the school is quite densely populated and the only local well always has long lines of people waiting to use it. The school children spend long periods of time waiting to get water and miss a lot of school due to being thirsty, so the school urgently needs its own well.
