The Olele-Moru community well is located in Moru “B” Village, Morungatuny Sub County in the Amuria district of Uganda.
Before the well this village’s only water source was a water hole that was also used by livestock and other animals. The situation used to worsen during the prolonged dry spells which led to the deterioration of the water source and muddy water. However left with no option the community members had to try to dig deeper in a desperate search for water. Thanks to the new well drilled by Drop in the bucket, the community is very pleased with the fact that they are having a protected borehole for the very first time in their life time!
