Otwak Village

Otwak community in Pader, Uganda, now has clean water thanks to a well drilled by Drop in the Bucket, a water charity dedicated to clean water for Africa.

Before Drop in the Bucket drilled a well at the Otwak village in Pader, Uganda, the entire village was getting water from an unsafe waterhole 2 kms away. The village now has clean water with a deep borehole well that is 54meters deep and has an average yield of 1.43 cubic meters of clean water per hour. This more than enough for the village’s needs.
