The people of Apamu community used to have to walk 4km looking for water at the swamp which was not safe to drink. The water was also consumed by several schools

Drilling at the Dokolo Primary School started on the 25th April, 2014. According to the drillers, they drilled through regular dirt for 7 meters and until they hit rock. From the 25th to the 30th April they drilled through rock until they had drilled
The drillers arrived in Atiira Secondary School on the 03rd May, 2014 and started drilling on the 04th May, 2014. We struck the first water at 15-16m and installed the permanent casing down to 20m, at this point the rock became too hard but unfortuna
